THE TAKE-ALONG TETHER IS THE ONLY PRODUCT ON THE MARKET THAT DOUBLES AS BOTH A CHILD TETHER AND AN ITEM TETHER!
The Take-Along Tether is an attractive, cloth covered elastic band, with an adjustable loop on one end to hold almost any item (pacifiers, teethers, bottles, sippy cups, toys, etc), along with a quick-release buckle for safety and convenience. For anchoring purposes, you can attach the other end to any seating device (stroller, highchair, shopping cart, cart cover, etc.) or it can be connected to a caregiver when using a baby sling, strap-on carrier, or even to their waistband.
The Take-Along Tether certainly made my life easier, and I know it will do the same for you!
Take Along Tether
Connected to a Caregiver When Using a Baby Sling, Strap-on Carrier,
or Their Waistband:
Attach the swivel snap hook
(A) directly to the fabric of the waistband, belt loop or to an enclosed loop on the strap-on carrier or baby sling. Always ensure that the area in which it is attached is not an
area that will affect the safety or functionality of the sling or strap-on carrier.
As a Child Tether:
Clip the swivel snap hook (A) around your child’s
belt loop and have the adjustable loop end (C) around an adult’s belt, belt loop, etc. (see attaching to a closed loop or ring) For safety
reasons, it is NOT RECOMMENDED to put the adjustable loop end (C) around your child’s wrist because a child often cannot tell you if it is too
tight.
When using as a child tether, it is recommended to attach the tether to the adult's belt loop before securing the child.”
Attaching to a Closed Loop or Ring:
When attaching
an item that has a closed loop or ring (like a teething ring) or an adult's belt loop (to use as a child tether): 1) Unhook the buckle (D)
2) Feed the adjustable loop end (C) of the tether into the opening
3) Thread the buckle end (D) through center opening of the tether's loop (C)
4) Pull to tighten.
5) Reattach the buckle (D) to the other half of the tether and secure the other end to your anchor (seating device) or child's belt loop using the swivel snap hook
(A).
When Securing to Highchair, Shopping Cart Seat or Other Seating Devices:
Anchor the
tether to your seating device by using the swivel snap hook (A) alone or with the swivel snap hook and elastic loop (B). Most easily attached to your child’s
existing strapping material in seating device. Loosen the adjustable loop (C) on the other end of the tether, insert child’s item and then tighten loop (C) to
secure object by pulling fabric tight. Side-release buckle (D) can be used to make changing out items easier, by removing only the second half of the tether.
My 2 cents!
My three year old is a runner! Not to mention a very destructive little guy, Not only does the Tether keep him close he really likes being hooked to it, and I like that I know he cant dart out in traffic while we are taking a walk. It is very sturdy and we have been very rough with ours im shocked that it looks like the day we bought it and that its still in perfect shape. I also have one for Abby she LOVES throwing her sippy cups on the floor, I am not a fan of that game! The first day we used the Tether for Abby I was in heaven and my back didnt hurt! I highly recomend this to parents!
